In 2006, Claude De Bonville and Leslie Amy purchased Baldwin with Claude becoming the sole owner in 2011. Claude believed in the business and knew that the Baldwin brand could be even bigger and better. The goal of the purchase was to put a unique spin on audio-visual productions and events beyond the equipment, lighting, and rentals. Instead, the focus became providing event solutions that leverage customized approaches with the right combination of technology and packaging to elevate client events.
Nowadays, Baldwin Audio/Visual Solutions is adept at in-person, virtual, as well as hybrid event formats and platforms. We handle AV equipment, staging, and lighting in addition to providing live engineering with a specialization in accessibility and language features. We serve a full spectrum of different government departments, institutions, nonprofit, and private companies of all sizes.
Even with the onset of the pandemic, and its resulting impact on the events industry, Baldwin has found ways to adapt and grow. While organizations were looking for a solution to their previously in-person conferences and meetings, we invested heavily into virtual solutions. We found ways to support our clients’ range of needs surrounding webcasts, webinars, virtual meetings, virtual conferences, and more!
We also repurposed our location so we could offer an in-house Virtual Event Studios & Simultaneous Interpretation in order to offer safe and professional facilities for language interpreters. Our on-site facilities allow us to provide remote-based SI, sign language, and closed captioning solutions for multiple languages (including French, English, Spanish, and Indigenous languages), all with equipment that meets current ISO standards and can be packaged in our custom webcast platform.
We’re now starting to see live events come back into the fold and hybrid solutions that combine both in-person and virtual aspects are where the current focus is now. Our custom hybrid events seamlessly allow remote audiences to have a similar experience to the in-person ones. We’re able to bring in presenters that can’t be on-site or broadcast your usual in-person event to a larger audience with more accessibility options.
Throughout all the audio-visual and event evolutions, Baldwin’s been there. Our passion, dedication, and knowledge allow us to supply the highest quality AV solutions for your event. Contact Baldwin Audio/Visual Solutions today to learn more!
