Baldwin Audio/Visual Solutions is a provider of audio-visual, simultaneous interpretation, webcasting, video conferencing, lighting, and staging services in the Ottawa/Gatineau region. We are focused on delivering professional services and support to our clients to ensure the success of their meetings and events.

Overview:

Baldwin Audio/Visual Solutions (BAVS) is looking for a sales representative to drive new and ongoing business opportunities while maintaining current accounts and relationships with client venues and organizations. You will contribute significantly by growing our client base and providing exceptional customer service within the audio-visual industry.

Key Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

  • Coordinate with clients to evaluate their event needs and create custom audio-visual solutions, including on-site visits and site inspections
  • Prepare quotes for individual events, RFPs, and in-house contracts
  • Develop relationships with BAVS clients, venues, and key organizations
  • Build and oversee existing client accounts and in-house contracts
  • Collaborate with the operations and marketing teams to ensure success
  • Research trends within the industry to gain an understanding of our clients’ needs and other avenues for growth

Position Requirements & Skills Required:

  • Minimum 3-5 years experience working sales or business development in the audio-visual industry
  • University or college degree (preferred)
  • Experience with inventory management systems
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and responsive
  • Team player with the ability to work efficiently alongside other colleagues
  • Experience working with RFPs and/or contracts
  • Strong interpersonal skills, good judgment, and able to communicate with a diverse range of individuals
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and able to work independently
  • Excited about a growing company environment and driven to make a difference
  • Proficient with the Microsoft 365 Suite of products (Word, Excel, OneNote, Outlook)
  • Applicant must have received, or be willing to receive, a COVID-19 vaccine by date of hire to be considered for employment
  • G-Class driver’s license

Compensation/Benefits:

  • Base salary plus uncapped commission structure and bonuses
  • Three (3) weeks paid vacation (plus additional Christmas shutdown)
